In recent years, new technology has emerged that has drastically changed the way movies are made, and it’s become a lot more prevalent than you may realize.
NantStudios, a leading technology-driven virtual production studio have built two new LED in-camera VFX stages at Docklands Studios Melbourne, including the world’s largest LED volume.
Now, it’s not a secret that the show makes use of Industrial Light & Magic’s StageCraft technology, which creates photorealistic alien landscapes on a colossal curved LED wall called a volume.
