European debut of 3D Talent Tracking technology brings new realism and production efficiency to live broadcast workflows.
ENCO is set to showcase the latest developments in its Qimera Virtual Production system at IBC2026, highlighting how broadcasters can use advanced virtual production technology to create engaging content while making more efficient use of staff, studio space and technical resources.
Visitors will have the opportunity to experience Qimera’s virtual production environment through an interactive green-screen demonstration. The platform now supports three production modes from a single server: traditional virtual studio production using green-screen keying, live augmented reality graphics and, newly introduced for IBC2026, LED-based extended reality.
Qimera is a real-time 3D compositing platform designed to enable broadcasters and live production teams to create virtual environments, AR graphics and dynamic productions from one system. Its flexible architecture allows multiple programmes to be produced from a single studio, with virtual sets changed quickly without the need for extensive physical scenery or infrastructure.
